DEEP THIRST

DEEP THIRST
What does it mean to thirst? To thirst simply mean to want more, to yearn for more, it’s an unquenchable desire, but deep thirst is not just mere thirst, but some thing more than thirst.

Thirst can be desire for food, water and earthly pleasure, but all this kind of thirst can be quenched in one way or the other but their is an exceptional kind of thirst, I mean a heart yearning after God for the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, he said I will pour out my holy spirit upon all flesh, this brings about the desiring for God or longing for God. A panting heart after God. “As a deer pants for flowing streams, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirst for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God? (Ps 42:1-2)
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. (Ps 143:6)

Deep thirst, mean emptying yourself for the infill and the outpouring of the holy spirit
(Mathew 5:6) Blessed are those that have a hungry heart after God for they shall be satisfied.

Psalms 63:1 (A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.) O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
David cried out to God that he may show his power and glory in his sanctuary.

From (John 4) A story of the woman of samarian, who went to the well of life with a desire and hungry heart seeking after God and she knew what she wanted and that was why she cried out loud saying, give me this water am sure she said it with a deep yearning a hunger that needed to be filled, she had a burning thirst that needed the power and the manifestation of his glory. She said sir give me this water, so that I will see the stream of endless blessings and find the right path in life, From her story she needed it, it was a burning desire, her thirst was so deep, give me sir I don't want to thirst again.

From God’s servant Bishop David Oyedepo, every time you want to encounter God, you mush have a thirst for Him, because without a genuine thirst for God, there will be no acess
(Isaiah 44:3)
Because from the scripture the woman was at the well  but still thirsty, she was still empty, she would have just drank water to quench the thirst, but the scripture reveals a mystery indicating that it was more than just a thirst, she needed something more, she needed to choke her empty space with the power and glory of God that was more to her thirst for water.

Her thirst was for the power and glory and mighty hand of God,she needed more to see the light and glory of the mighty power of the manifestation of God, and she didn't just receive her encounter and keep quiet she made a public evangelism all through the village and she said I have seen master, I have met with the king of king, the power of the power the mighty king, I don't know your mind nor your thirst but God shall give an encounter in this season through his word in the mighty name of Jesus.
And am trusting God that it will encounter people with a fresh hunger and desire for God as they read this message titled deep thirst in the mighty name of Jesus .

Love needs shelter, In the lonely cold night all I could hear was a loud voice which screamed out aloud. Love is cold Love cries Love pants Love is faint Love shields tears Love is scared Love can see dark shadows. All that the moonlight could see was that love needs a shelter Love embraces the cold wind Love is close to the moon light Love is close to the starlight. Love needs shelter, Love needs her voice to be heard. Let's not think about ourselves only, let us give shelter to others through love in any little way we can afford. #Nanatalk# #Windofglory#

Who can stop the sun from shinning?

Who can stop the sun from shinning? The sun stands alone Yet it shines greatly The stars sparkle in the night The moonlight glows in the night The gentle breeze blows the sea to and fro The waterfall gushes without ceasing Storms comes day in day out Storms can't hold the ocean Smile holds no edge The candle light sparkles brightly We strive to a path we can't reach To arrive at an unknown destination A faith full of hope A heart full of love The thin air that we breathe in and out Is what keeps us alive When the storm rises We get frightened Our mind is full of anxiety But we often forget that We can't stop the sun from shinning He made all things beautiful The Creator of heaven and earth He made the sun to rule over the day; his love is eternal; Psalm 136:8 GNT #Nanatalkpeom# #windofglory#

PLEASE PRAY FOR ME

"PLEASE PRAY FOR ME" - THE STORY OF A YOUNG LADY (SPOKEN WORDS) People who knew me thought I was saved, I wore so many beautiful clothes in beautiful styles, I had clear vision, I had dreams with high hopes, but my relationship with God wasn't reflecting His ways nor giving him glory. Friends who knew me in church called me a faithful believer, I always smiled at that, but deep down inside of me, I knew I was helpless and wasn't saved. I usually stayed at the corner of church, crying in my mind day in day out; then I asked myself one day, "when will I be free, when we I surrender my ways to God"? I kept on hoping, but months turned into weeks and weeks turned into day; then I asked myself again, "when will I be free from this self guilt, is it when there's no more breath in me? I went to church on that day and altar call was made, but I refused to go out. I wondered what people will say or what friends will think about me, but then I buried my...
